Amsterdam, 1 September 2023: The Elevion Group, a leading European provider of complete solutions for decarbonisation and improved energy efficiency, has acquired SERCOO Group GmbH and its subsidiaries. Headquartered in Lingen, the group is one of Germany's leading providers of services for operators of biogas plants and combined heat and power plants, as well as the repair of engines and other plant components. This acquisition strengthens Elevion Group's market position in the fields of renewable energies and decentralised energy supply, while also providing expertise for the future growth in demand for alternative drive systems for stationary and mobile applications.

Technology partner for climate protection investments As a full-service provider, SERCOO Group covers the entire value chain for the operation of biogas plants and combined heat and power plants. The company also specialises in the repair and maintenance of diesel and gas-powered large engines as well as compressors, pumps and gearboxes for a wide range of industrial sectors and their conversion to alternative fuels. Its customers are primarily agricultural businesses, municipalities, energy suppliers, engine manufacturers and companies in the railway, transport and other industrial sectors. With around 300 employees, the group generated a turnover of approximately €62 million in 2022.
